leave
The sun was setting when we started telling ourselves the prophecy. It had been following us all day and the time was set and we didn't know what else could be said. We were looking at the leaves change colour in the backyard and my friend moved to another country and I changed my wardrobe while we were trying to agree. Autumn was suddenly here. Everything had been lost so slowly that we forgot what we used to have. Our trip was near, and I braced myself. I felt as if I was leaving too, falling from the tree, fading into the street.
